Almudena was born in Mexico City. As a little girl she used to dress her dolls, and ever since she had the firm purpose to become a dress designer, started drawing and developing the skills by herself, living in San Miguel de Allende from 1989 until now, she decided to improve her English language in Washington D.C., coming back home within strive of studying fashion design in the city of Guadalajara in 2007 where she was required by same school to participate at the National competition of Fashion Design for Textile Industry Called Creare at Leon Guanajuato in 2008, winning the first price in Ethnic Design category, keeping the path of embroidery in actual designs hand made by local handcrafters.
Back hometown she has participated in different gateways in San Miguel de Allende, displaying her collection in the most prestigious boutiques at location, and even expanding to other cities like Cuernavaca, San Luis Potosi, Texas and now looking for the New Mexican taste in Santa Fe.
Don`t be surprised if by a sudden movement you`re taken by Almudena`s camera, which is another of her passions… to capture the world just like it is!
