Santa Fe Fashion Week was founded in 2011 for fashion-loving New Mexicans and to promote our beautiful state capital, Santa Fe.
We believe in and promote Ethical Fashion with an emphasis on diversity as well as social responsibility. We are interested in all Southwest and American West fashion design as well as the beautiful rainbow of other cultural fashions from all over the world. Santa Fe Fashion Week Boasts THREE Project Runway Designers!
Now in our fourth year, we have grown, evolved, and developed into so much more than we could have ever hoped for in our first year. We promise to continually evolve organically with the the same love and care we give our roots and foundation. Musical Artist (She’ll be performing for us on our runway!), Naima – will be Hosting Santa Fe Fashion Week 2015 this year! You’ll be seeing her exclusive interviews with some of the industry’s best style and fashion sensations!
Our Designers have benefited from the experience, sales, industry connections, and media exposure we have provided to them. Every year, our design students have benefited from real-world experience in a large-scale runway show. We believe in transparency, and never skew numbers – our first year, we started with about 450 people in attendance and have maintained that number for the past three years. As a fashion week, our focus remains less on “selling tickets” and more on getting valuable industry connections to our designers. 2014 brought connections from Los Angeles, where Orlando Dugi of Dugi Fashions was invited to be a part of Style Fashion Week for 2015. One of our models, Rahil, went on to become one of “America’s It Girls”. Every year, designers get featured in magazines, newspapers, and online publications as well as have appearances on radio shows. Our website has an average of 3,500 *unique* visitors a month (and climbing) all year long, and each designer receives their own page promoting them and their brand until the following Fashion Week.
